Scale your vision and increase collaboration

The CU*source online development programme supports you to use the source principles to increase clarity, ownership and collaboration.

Who is CU*source for?

CU*source is a deep and personal learning journey, for those eager to grow initiatives with more flow, ease and love:

  • Founders and CEOs wanting to realise their vision with fewer struggles and more internal and external support
  • Coaches and advisors who want to support purposeful founders and their initiatives in becoming more self-organised and purpose-driven
  • Changemakers and activists who seek to create meaningful impact with less friction
  • Visionaries who want to co-create a sustainable and prosperous future for people and planet
  • Anyone who is ready to unleash their creative potential once and for all

Why should you participate in CU*source?

Do you experience dynamics in your initiatives like these:

  • a lack of collaboration and silo thinking?
  • too much reliance on the leader?
  • not enough creative autonomy?
  • an overly egalitarian culture in endless vision discussions?
  • a lack of clarity, leading to people pulling in different directions and getting stuck?
  • frustration or power struggles leading to talented people quitting?
  • tensions between co-founders?
  • a focus on money, instead of realising the vision?

Even the most ambitious endeavours fall short of their potential due to leadership challenges, an unclear vision, power struggles, and disengaged teams. This leads to frustration and burnout, for founders, leaders and colleagues alike.

In CU*source, you will…

  • learn how to be an effective source – someone who can turn vision into reality – and support others to do so, too;
  • uncover your fears and reactive patterns around authority and power;
  • learn how to foster a positive culture of mutual support and collaboration;
  • understand how initiatives can scale with less effort and more joy.

Creativity and entrepreneurial ability are innate human capabilities. You can learn to fully unleash them in yourself and everyone you work with by consciously applying the principles of source.

Have you ever…

… been frustrated because someone hijacked an initiative and claimed it was theirs?
… had a clear vision for something you wanted to realise but lacked the support to get it done?
… wanted to support self-organisation and were frustrated by resistance and doubts?

The structure and content of CU*source

CU*source consists of 5 modules, delivered over 12 – 14 weeks.

The five CU*source modules

Module 1 – Initiatives & Source will introduce you to the core principles of source, the difference between source and patriarchy, and explore your own capacity of flowing freely between different roles.

Module 2 – Creative Fields introduces the distinction of a creative field vs. an organisation, looks at rules, roles and team work, and supports you in making a creative field map.

Module 3 – Being a Source looks at how to identify the source of a creative field, the three roles in a creative field, and the importance of inner work and consciousness development in becoming a better source.

Module 4 – Life Cycles and Succession investigates through the lens of source how to pass the torch, what really happens when initiatives merge, and when to allow an initiative to come to an end.

Module 5 – Love and Radix looks at how to grow a creative field with love and what it means to be a radical in the true sense of the word, and helps you connect the dots of the entire CU*source journey.

Each module consists of

  • Audios that explain the core ideas
  • Self-reflection exercises that allow you apply the ideas to your life and work

How does CU*source work?

CU*source is a blended learning programme that combines self-directed online learning with social learning in small groups as well as the participating cohort.

Self-directed online learning

The content of CU*source is delivered via our Conscious U online platform where all participants of the programme meet in cohorts and which

  • encourages micro-learning by dissecting content into small tasks
  • enables you to engage with content in the form of audios and exercises guiding self-reflection and dialogue
  • allows you to access the programme at any time from any device and study when it is most convenient for you
  • increases accountability, positive competition and communication through gamification.

Social learning

Through dialogue and experimentation with other participants you

  • generate insights,
  • shift mindsets, and
  • trigger new behaviours and develop conscious rituals.

You’ll create meaningful networks with other participants through:

  • bi-weekly conversations in your coaching pod, and
  • bi-weekly group video conferences with your experienced coaches

The philosophy behind CU*source

CU*source is based on more than 30 years of research by the seminal thinker Peter Koenig (peterkoenigsystem®) and it is the only online programme created with his direct input and guidance.

At the core of CU*source lies the observation that creativity is a human drive and potential that’s accessible to everyone. Peter’s extensive work with organisations (many family owned or founder led) gave rise to his observations that many endeavours fail because the originator of the initiative and their founding vision was not acknowledged. The ensuing confusion, power struggles, and interpersonal friction can be disentangled by following the red thread of creation all the way back to the source.

Source work is also deeply spiritual work that connects us to our essence and creative spark. When we work consciously with source we can unleash our creative potential and dance joyfully with others in an emergent creation where everyone’s contribution is invited and acknowledged. This work confronts us with our stories around power, dominance, collaboration and the patriarchy.

To name these unconscious stories and integrate disowned aspects of our humanity back into our identity makes us more whole and frees us to do what we are most passionate about in life. It leads us towards love. This newfound freedom will show itself in our relationship with our initiative, the joy we find in our work, and the relationships we have with our co-collaborators. The insights resulting from sourcework are often eye opening, sometimes embarrassing but always lead to greater emotional maturity, improved leadership of self and others, and more worthwhile visions coming to life beautifully.

Peter Koenig

“The Source Principles came to me in my vocation to help contemporary founders of enterprises organise and surround themselves with people doing what they love and loving the contribution they’re making. I’m immensely grateful to Tom Nixon for expanding the availability of this through his book “Work with Source”; and now to Nadja and Tom for developing this sophisticated online programme, perfect for anyone eager to expand their knowledge and grounding in the source principles. Nadja’s and Tom’s collaboration is itself a masterful example of source at work! May everyone enjoy and benefit from the in-depth exploration of source work in CU*source.”
