I have a Master of Psychology and hold a Master Certified Coach credential by the International Coach Federation. I work as a coach, keynote speaker and am the author of the book Conscious You: Become the Hero of Your Own Story. I support CEOs, founders, coaches, and facilitators worldwide to create Conscious Tribes in organisations and communities alike.

I come from a family that was deeply scarred by World War II. My German grandparents hid their guilt about their tacit acquiescence with the Nazis under a blanket of silence. My Russian grandfather and Polish grandmother had survived a concentration camp, a labour camp and forced prostitution. Their unresolved trauma led to alcohol abuse and violence. The aftermath of World War II took two generations to heal and be integrated. I realised that unconscious people are capable of doing terrible things to themselves, to others – and not least to the planet. Since then, I have made it my mission to promote individual consciousness development as well as conscious communities.

I live with my wife Olga in Berlin. I am a passionate film and science fiction fan and I love to cook dinners for friends.

Most of what I am interested in and what I can do today, I have taught myself: from my affinity for law and delight in beautiful contracts to functioning technology and appealing UX to politics and astrophysics. I am a generalist and have always thought and worked in an interdisciplinary way. Unsurprisingly, my background is diverse, ranging from organising major events, creating concepts for information architecture of large databases, project management and managing a spice trade to my current role as Managing Director of ConsciousU.

At the age of five, I immigrated to Germany from Poland with my family. The knowledge of the structural oppression of people who think differently in Poland on the one hand and the experience of xenophobia in Germany on the other have both had a strong influence on my world view. I believe in democracy and do not shy away from open and controversial debates. Through my work at ConsciousU, I stand up for my values of justice, humanity and diversity.

I live with my wife Nadja in Berlin. I am an avid science fiction fan and am interested in astrophysics and film.

As a psychologist (Master of Psychology) and graphic recorder/ illustrator/ artist (Master of Art (RCA)), I create images and creative invitations that support people in their processes of change.

Through my work I wish to give people a sense of being heard and seen and enable them to experience playful “flow” moments in which new thoughts can take shape. To me, images and creative expression are wonderful vehicles for healing and transformation because they anchor insights, provide inspiration, touch us inside and allow dialogue and participation.

I live in Berlin with my family and love pen and paper, traveling by train and watching dogs play.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Law and Diplomacy and a Diplom (graduate degree) in Social Science. I work as a leadership coach and organizational development consultant with a diverse set of clients globally, ranging from the United Nations to tech companies, consulting businesses and non-governmental organizations.

Prior to becoming a coach, I worked for the United Nation’s peacekeeping effort. Influenced by my upbringing and family background as a child of Eritrean refugees who escaped war, I developed an early interest in systemic change and how to create lasting peace in communities. My UN assignments took me to Sudan, Somalia and New York and allowed me to work in the most diverse environments imaginable. This experience taught me the true value but also the challenge of building belonging and trust in diverse teams. As a senior advisor to UN executives, leading policy and organizational learning initiatives, I thrived when given the opportunity to improve the way things got done around me and this often meant focusing on the people, processes and structures. I am passionate about helping organizational leaders navigate the complexities and dilemmas inherent in leadership roles, build the mindset they need to have the maximum impact and, in the process, become the leader they wish to be.

I work as a freelance advisor and consultant on organisational culture change with a particular focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) and a systemic perspective on privilege. Prior to becoming self-employed, I’ve been part of B2C tech and community start-ups. Among others, I was CEO of urbia.de (for parents) and Chefkoch.de (for foodies). I co-initiated the platform “Male Feminists Europe” and am a catalyst for HeForShe Germany.

I am fascinated by organisations of all kinds and the beliefs and patterns of action that are effective there. I have deep respect for all stakeholders and would like to help create a more holistic view of culture and structure as well as systems and processes. My socialisation as a “white cishetero man” can be both a catalyst and a challenge. I am committed to creating equal-opportunity work environments that keep individual and collective needs in mind.

I am an integrative transpersonal therapist working in private practice and organisational settings, and work with groups and individuals on their relationship with money using Peter Koenig’s transformative ‘Money Work’, which draws on Jungian ideas on shadow and the unconscious.

Coming from a background of ten+ years in the not-for-profit sector and international development, with a focus on climate change, gender and social inequality, I started ‘the Good Jungle’ to connect the world of beyond-profit organisations and working for the greater good with cutting edge insights and practices from the emerging meeting place between modern psychology & science and contemplative practice.

I am specialised in working with change-makers who feel overwhelmed, burned out or stuck to support them in finding their resilience, power and wisdom, through group and 1:1 training and therapeutic work.
